Our Directors

Ray trained as an accountant after attending Highlands Grammar School (now North Halifax Grammar School). For many years now has specialised in tax matters but having worked in practice since 1978 has a broad range of accountancy experience. Ray is married, lives in Huddersfield and is a season ticket holder at Huddersfield Town. Born in Halifax though he has a passion for Halifax Town and some of his fondest memories are of standing on the terraces at the Shay (despite the freezing cold feet). Tries to keep active through running and cycling but seems to be a losing battle at moment.

Will is ACCA qualified and vastly experienced in audit and internal audit, having worked all over the world in this capacity. Since setting up his own practice he has gained a far wider spectrum of experience especially in assisting to get new businesses off the ground and encourage existing businesses to grow. He was born and bred in Halifax, attended Bradford Grammar School and then went onto study accountancy at Hull University. Will is married with twins and though he is a keen member of West End Golf Club his playing opportunities are limited due to family commitments. He is also a rugby union fan, his brother Charlie being a former international professional player.
